My hair is original because, I was blessed with this thick, curly, kinky, wavy combination of my mom and dad, and I really love it!! My tendrils are original because I try to show that a fro, twist out, braid out, or protective style can be professional in the workplace (especially if there aren’t many who look like you around.) I’ve been natural for a few years, and I’m still learning about it. I am striving for healthy hair, and I’ve heard great things about this brand. I hope I win them so that I can have a good regimen for my hair.
My hair makes me look like an original because I live in an where there’s not a lot of black people and I stand out because I have huge curly hair
My hair makes me original because I’m the only one in my group of friends and family to go natural. It’s also made me a stronger person when it comes to others opinions of me. Since I started transitioning I have felt with rude comments and states by other black women. The one group I didn’t expect the most backlash from. It’s made me a stronger and more confident person.

My hair is original because it still conforms to grease and two pigtails like my aunt used to put in my hair. My hair does not follow rules. No CG method, No silicon-free, no mineral free. What works for my hair works for me and sometimes working against the rules keeps my hair growing, tamed and stronger than ever. My hair is for me and hair reminds me to stay original, however sometimes we agree to disagree when I crave something new.
I think my hair makes me original because it is all mine! I switch up the styles, texture, and color to keep my husband guessing.
My Transitioning Hair makes me an Original because it’s letting my true me shine thru.. My creative side (which ladies that are transitioning know you must have lol) showing my daughter that ALL textures are beautiful (she’s fully natural) my hair embraces the new me that I long to be!!!

It has fallen out, been damaged and under wraps for a long time before I actually learned my hair. After learning my hair, it flourished in no time! My hair is my own and it’s a soldier in the war on society’s standard of beauty :)

Congrats Soror on 50k subscribers, and the platform you have established! I recently big-chopped after a year of transitioning and watching other naturals on YouTube. I work in corporate America and I was very scared about the perception I would receive at work… THEN I remember how many other natural, powerful/successful women that are within the company… I was virtually tired of living for someone else, and ready to show off my 4C natural curls and coils. This is when I realized how much of an individual I was by the texture of my hair! My hair is beautiful not matter in what form.
My hair makes me original because it’s what I was born with. No two heads are exactly alike. I can style it a certain way, but it’s going to do it’s own thing.

I was so scared to wear my hair out for a very long time especially right now as a freshman in college, I was scared of all the attention I would possibly get and sticking out. i allowed myself to sell myself short by settling to just “blend in” or fading into the background. but I realized that wearing weaves and being bland isn’t me. I am in fact more than my hair, my hair is just a plus to what I have to offer.

The reason why my hair makes me a original because I feel like myself When I wear my natural hair out. I have so much confidence. people stop me where ever I go and just tell me how they love my hair. Although some times I wear weaves to change up sometime I just don’t feel right Ill take my hair out in 2days and go back to rocking my FRO!

My hair makes me unique simply because it is the hair God gave me when He made me in His image. I can’t complain about that! My hair was relaxed when I was young and not caring for my own hair. In high school, I tried to go natural maybe twice. But I didn’t know what to do. Thanks to you and the other YouTube Naturalistas, I was able to transition to the way God originally put me on this Earth! (Sorry so wordy!!)

My hair is unique because no one else has these tresses growing out of my head. Even when I “copy” a youtuber style or anything else my curls help me make it “my own”. Going natural is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and there’s no going back! What’s the saying, no two snowflakes are alike? Same for my beautiful natural hair! :-)
