I hope your weekend went well. Happy Belated Mother’s Day to all of you mothers and mother-figures out there. :) I decided (super last minute) to surprise my Mommy in Cali for Mother’s Day. I flew standby on Friday night and rented a car so that I could just show up (I like to see the shock factor). She was super happy, which is all I could ask for. Now…getting back from Cali was another type of situation.
That Stand-by Life: Flying standby on Sunday wasn’t even an option as the weather in Dallas was atrocious. So I extended my rental car and decided to stay another day. Monday was equally bad….I turned in the car but didn’t get onto any flights! I got a hotel room close to the airport so that I could try to catch an EARLY flight (this morning) where my Mom met me. I took her to dinner and a movie (AVENGERS!). This morning was a struggle! I had to be at the airport at 4:40am….arrived in Dallas at noon and came straight to the J-O-B! Of course I worked Monday too. ALL of dat to say > Apologies for the late post for the 1st Spring Cleaning Giveaway, but those you who follow me on IG got a head start last week anyway!!!

Sooooo…..As you can see I LOVED the results. Those twirls lasted me about 4 days with simple maintenance (throwing my hair up in a bonnet each night).
